Parallel Lines introduced their first Savor Los Angeles series last night which featured locals specializing in high quality sweets. The event had a great turnout and was a huge success. The event took place at an amazing gallery space, Miauhaus Studios located in the Miracle Mile of Los Angeles. The selection of participants was outstanding, it was truly the best of the best in L.A. Even the selection of DJs and music was on point. It was an intimate and well organized event which I enjoyed.
Now to the highlights
I was able to try all the samples from everyone and everything was delicious! I did have favorites and least favorites though. It was also great to run into a few friends I haven’t seen in awhile and meet new one’s.

The Crosby dished out a special dessert- Flourless choco cake with Goji Berry – one of my favorites from the night!
BabyCakes NYC/ L.A was serving up its vegan chocolate chip cookies, brownies and donut holes.
XT Patisserie had their famous macarons on display with a variety of flavors to try. I took one bite of the vanilla and knew these macarons were legit.
Gotta Have S’More was serving up it’s unique S’muffins. Yes, thats right muffin meets s’more. They were DELICIOUS and really have you coming back for some more.

The lovely Kim was present

It was a nice surprise to see long time friends Julia and Jason
N’ICE CREAM was serving scoops of the most creamiest gelato and sorbet I’ve ever had. I had a scoop of the salted caramel and it was one of my other favorites of the night. I mean creamy creamy creammmy. yum.

POPCAKES! Cakes on sticks, variety of flavors and covered in sugar sprinkles. They also provide a wide range of customized pops. I took a red velvet one and I’m saving it for later..

Oh did I forget to mention besides a whole lot of sweet consumption, there was a variety of beverages to try as well. PAMA Liqueur was there as well as Izzie, Boxed Water, Freixenet, Gloria Ferrer and Intelligentsia.
Pure Cheesecakes offered beautiful mini cheesecakes, chocolate, strawberry and original. I tried the strawberry and it was honestly one of the best cheesecakes I’ve had. They were cute, small and delicious.

P.O.P Candy Co. offers butter crunch candy in a variety of flavors. Crunchy goodness.
Sweets For The Soul had an assortment of brownie bites. The Obama bites were my my favorite, dark chocolate and white chocolate cakey brownie.

Frosted Cupcakery has a nice display of mini cupcakes and cupcake sandwhiches. I tried the butterfinger one, moist chocolate cupcake slighly frosted and covered with butterfinger bits on top. Really good!

Lastly, Kim about to enjoy her cupcake sandwhich.
As you can see it was a very sweet evening. I can’t wait to see what Parallel Lines has instore for us next.
See you at the next Savor Los Angeles.
