Fruity Pebble Strawberry Shortcake Cake Ball and Chocolate Banana Cake Ball

I’ve always heard great things about Angel Food Bakery and finally made my way over there today with Sheena. What recently caught my attention the most are the new flavors of cake balls (cake balz) available $0.95. Some of the flavors include Strawberry cheesecake rolled in fruity pebbles, chocolate & peanut butter, lemon cake/ lemon curd with toasted coconut and frosted flake covered cake balz. Angel Food Bakery is a cute retro decorated bakery that offers homemade classic treats such as the Airstream (twinkie), the R.V ( Zinger), Whoopie Pies, S’mores, Boston Cream Cupcake and Thin Mints. There is an assortment of baked goods to choose from and they also serve food and brunch on Sundays. I was able to try a couple cake balz, a chocolate malted cupcake and an airstream. Everything was unique and delicious. I wish I ordered more of the fruity pebble cake balz, which were my favorite. The moist strawberry cake with frosting was so good and the crunchy fruity pebbles in each bite made it even better. If you’re new to the cake ball game, make sure to try them at Angel Food Bakery, so far they are my favorite.
