An Oatmeal Milkshake from Tiztal Cafe, 4631 North Clark St, Chicago IL 60613
Sheena and I made plans for brunch this Sunday and of course we were indecisive on where to go. Luckily she had a couple choices already in mind and Tiztal Cafe was one of them. The fact that they served Oatmeal shakes as well was a plus. I’ve been wanting to go to Irazu Costa Rican Restaurant for awhile now just because of the infamous Oatmeal Shake. I was happy to find out they are not the only ones to offer it. Tiztal is known for its fresh juices, oatmeal shake, chilaquiles and chorizo scramble. It is small and cozy with a family owned feel. Service was friendly but slow. I ordered an Oatmeal milkshake $4.25 to start off with of course. It was milky, rich and full of oats. I really enjoyed it but would not recommend drinking all of it before your meal. As far as my meal, I ordered the chilaquiles with chorizo and eggs $8.99.

Yeah that sounds like a lot of food and it was! They are very generous with portions. Every thing was great but what really stood out was the side of garlic potatoes, it alone was worth the trip. I think I’d be good with an oatmeal shake and potatoes. Everything on the menu looked good as well and I can’t wait to go back and try the omelets and crepes.

That looks and sounds so AMAZING. Super jealous. p.s. I’m the worst contributor ever.
