Yakisoba is a popular fried noodle dish in Japan. It is commonly served as a main dish. It is cheap, fast and delicious! It is prepared by stir-frying ramen noodles with bite size pieces of pork, carrots, cabbage, onion and flavored with yakisoba sauce. It is commonly garnished with seaweed powder and Japanese mayonnaise. All Japanese markets and the ethnic section of your local grocery store should have the ingredients you need. Here is the recipe for making a Japanese homemade dish under $10 dollars.

What you will need:
- 3 packets of Ramen noodles
- 1 bunch of green onions
- 1/3 of a whole cabbage
- 1 carrot
- small pieces of pork ( I used a pack of stripped pork belly) *you can substitute other meat as well
- Yakisoba sauce
- Powder seaweed (garnish)
- Japanese mayo (garnish)

Directions:
1. Boil water in a pot and then add packets of ramen noodles, cook until noodles are seperated and medium cooked. Drain and set aside.
2. Chop the carrots, onions and cabbage, set aside.
2. In a wok, fry the meat until cooked and then add the noodles on high heat. Stir fry the noodles and then add the cabbage, onions and carrots.
3. Add the Yakisoba sauce and keep stirring everything together on high . Add sauce until the noodles are brown in color.
4. After everything has been mixed together and is golden brown, it will be ready to serve
5. Garnish with extra sauce, mayo and seaweed powder
Enjoy!
